Are You Moving Overseas?

We are extremely popular with overseas landlords.  As a local and independent company, we have a personal touch to everything we do as well as being very experienced in all aspects of property maintenance.

We have a very low turnover of staff (our property manager has been with us for 10 years), so no matter when you call, you will always speak to someone who is familiar with your property.  As landlords ourselves, we act and advise from a position of direct experience.

Non Resident Status

The centre for non resident landlords (CNR), part of HMRC, state that all letting agents must deduct basic rate income tax from rents received unless the landlord has an exemption from HMRC to receive the gross rent in full.

We strongly recommend that all landlords apply for the overseas exemption. It’s a very straight forward process that only requires a short two page form (Nrl1) to be completed and returned to HMRC.
